Maria is a British actress who has worked for a range of companies across the UK & Ireland, she splits her time between working as a professional actress in the UK and an Acting Professor at The American University in Cairo.
Maria received an MA in Acting from the The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London; she also studied musical theatre at Liverpool Theatre School. Professionally, Maria’s career has covered a wide range of mediums including theatre, radio and television.
Some of Maria’s roles include Juliet in Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”, Hermia in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, Marianne in “Sense and Sensibility”, Lucky in “Waiting for Godot”, Isabella in “Wuthering Heights” and Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz”. She has also worked as a dancer with several dance companies across the UK.
Maria now works as an Acting Professor at The American University in Cairo, she teaches Acting and has worked as Voice and Movement Coach and director on several productions.
