Lehner is an Acting Coach with over 15 years of theatrical experience and training. The very first play he performed in took part in the fringe of the Cairo International Experimental Theatre Festival in 1999. He received his BA in Theatre from the American University in Cairo, where he also assisted and taught workshops. In the summers of 2002 and 2004 he took part in Cairo to Camps, leading theatre workshops for the Palestinian refugee children living in Shatilla. In 2006, alongside Harvard Law Students in Boston, he facilitated, directed, and acted in a performance that shed light on issues of torture and violence on an international level. He recently completed his Masters of Fine Arts in 2012 from the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard University and Moscow Art Theatre School. He has been teaching acting workshops in Cairo since the summer of 2014 and has also been giving private coaching to working actors. His training extends from London, Moscow, Boston and Los Angeles
